- I tend to agree with the idea that it is much wiser to switch to a Intel
- 80x86 processor as soon as you get a chance. The reason is simple --
- price vs performance ratio.

- I currently have 2 Amiga 2000 running Progressive's 28mhz 68040 with
- 18 meg ram each. When compared to the Pentium 90mhz system I bought
- recently for $2,900 with 32 meg ram, NT and SCSI 2 controller; the Amiga
- just doe not match up.

- As you can see from the latest issue of VTU the performance of a PC clone
- is really a bargain for what you pay.

- But then again, I am keeping my Amiga -- not because I like them but It
- is tough to sell the machines to someone else.
