  1. I tend to agree with the idea that it is much wiser to switch to a Intel
  2. 80x86 processor as soon as you get a chance.  The reason is simple -- 
  3. price vs performance ratio.

  5. I currently have 2 Amiga 2000 running Progressive's 28mhz 68040 with
  6. 18 meg ram each.  When compared to the Pentium 90mhz system I bought 
  7. recently for $2,900 with 32 meg ram, NT and SCSI 2 controller; the Amiga
  8. just doe not match up.

  10. As you can see from the latest issue of VTU the performance of a PC clone
  11. is really a bargain for what you pay.

  13. But then again, I am keeping my Amiga -- not because I like them but It
  14. is tough to sell the machines to someone else.
